Nabeel Irshad
Vice President of Business Development at Mastercard
Nabeel joined Mastercard in September 2019 and leads its Government and public sector payments business in UK and Ireland. He works closely with Government, issuers, and industry partners to champion the use of digital payments as a fast, secure, and effective method of payment.
Prior to Mastercard, Nabeel spent five years working at Metro Bank, one of the UK’s first challenger banks. There, he worked in both the products and finance teams to build propositions, develop business change cases and procure new services.
Earlier in his career, Nabeel worked as a political adviser and journalist at the BBC.
